Hugues is a Patent Attorney within ICOSA’s Tech team, which he joined in the summer of 2025.

Trained as a biologist, Hugues holds a dual Master’s degree in Genetics and Bioinformatics from Paris-Saclay University.

He earned his PhD in Bioinformatics from the Gustave Roussy Institute. His research focused on developing predictive models of immunotherapy response in melanoma patients, with a particular interest in non-coding regions of the transcriptome for the identification of response biomarkers.

Hugues supports startups with patent drafting and prosecution procedures before the EPO and INPI.
