Benjamin MOREL is a patent attorney and a graduate of CEIPI (patents, trademarks, and designs).
He began his career in innovation and intellectual property in 2011. His diverse professional background includes working as an Innovation Strategy and Intellectual Property Consultant at Avenium/Questel Consulting, and later as Head of Intellectual Property and Innovation at Eveon and Alpao. Through these experiences, Benjamin has acquired a 360° vision of strategic IP support, as well as strong expertise in using technical and technological search and monitoring databases.
In 2023, Benjamin joined ICOSA’s Tech department and is now Director of the Grenoble office. He supports startups and SMEs in drafting patent applications and managing prosecution before the French Patent Office (INPI) and the European Patent Office (EPO). His expertise in IP landscapes also brings added value to IP diagnostics and audits carried out by ICOSA’s patent engineering teams.
His main technical fields of expertise include medical devices, cellular and molecular biology, microbiology, and bioproduction.
