Laëtitia Etchepare is a European Patent Attorney.

A CEIPI Graduate, Laëtitia holds a PhD in Biology. She conducted her research at the Interdisciplinary Institute for Neuroscience in Bordeaux under the supervision of Prof. Laurent Groc. Her doctoral thesis focused on “Role of glutamate NMDA receptor surface trafficking in the firing pattern of midbrain dopaminergic neurons.”

Her work involved both in vitro techniques (neuronal cultures, high-resolution imaging on neuronal cultures, electrophysiology on rodent brain slices, immunohistochemistry) and in vivo methods (rodent surgery – stereotaxic procedures).

She has strong expertise in neurobiology, as well as in chemistry and medical devices, supported by a multidisciplinary academic background in Neuroscience and Neuropsychopharmacology.

Laëtitia joined ICOSA in 2019 as a Patent Attorney. She is part of the Biology/Biotech team and is involved in drafting patent applications, managing prosecution procedures, and preparing legal opinions.
