Lidy-Anne Jeswiet-van Westenbrugge is a Benelux Trademark & Design Attorney and a European Trademark & Design Attorney, authorized to represent our clients before the BOIP (Benelux) and the EUIPO (European Union).

She advises Benelux and international clients on managing industrial property portfolios, aligning industrial property strategy with business objectives, and conducting audits. Her practice focuses on advising on the availability, protection, enforcement, and exploitation of trademarks, domain names, and designs. She is recognized for her cross-cutting perspective on trademark issues. She has also handled numerous opposition proceedings.

Lidy-Anne holds a Master’s Degree in Law from Leiden University (the Netherlands).

Before joining ICOSA in June 2026, Lidy-Anne worked at major, leading industrial property firms in the Netherlands and Belgium. She also founded her own firm abroad, IPP Ltd in Turkey.

From food and cosmetics to banking, insurance, and fashion, Lidy-Anne has spent more than thirty years putting her expertise to work for well-known brands with a strong international presence.

Deeply committed to the profession, she is a member of the Benelux Association for Trademark and Design Law (BMM) and sits on the steering committee of the BMM professional training program (BBMM); in particular, she helped launch the BMM’s first French-language professional training program in 2024. She is also a member of ECTA, where she has joined the Supervisory Board, and of INTA, where she serves on the Country Guide Committee.
