Manon Bonneton is a Managing Partner at ICOSA and Head of the Biology/Biotech/Techbio Department.
Manon has recognized and in-depth expertise in Biology and Biotechnology, particularly in molecular and cellular biology, microbiology, and biochemistry. She initially joined ICOSA as a Patent Engineer within the Biology-Biotech team.
She assists clients in defining IP strategy and advises them on patentability and freedom-to-operate (FTO) issues. Manon has developed strong expertise in patent drafting and prosecution, from filing through to grant. She is also highly proficient with patent search tools, including GenomeQuest.
A graduate from the CEIPI, she is qualified as a European and French Patent Attorney.
Manon earned her PhD in Life Sciences from the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon, where she conducted research on telomerase regulation, an enzyme implicated in cancer, using a model microorganism.
She also leads ICOSA’s Lyon office, composed of 11 patent engineers specialized in Chemistry, Biology/Biotech/Techbio, and Tech-Medtech.
