Marc Chammas is a patent engineer. He holds a PhD in Physics and Medical Imaging from Université Paris-Saclay, a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the American University of Beirut, and an Engineering Degree in Electromechanics with a specialization in Biomedical Engineering from Université Saint Joseph de Beyrouth.

Marc began his career in research during his doctoral studies at Université Paris-Saclay, where he also taught at the Institut d’Optique Graduate School. He joined ICOSA’s Medtech department, within the AI/Software team, in 2023.

His expertise lies in medical imaging, medical devices, machine learning, artificial intelligence, programming, and image and signal processing. Marc supports startups in drafting patent applications and handling filing procedures before the French Patent Office (INPI) and the European Patent Office (EPO).
