An expert in Biotechnology and Cell Biology, Yann TERRES is a patent attorney and a CEIPI graduate (Patents).

Yann holds a PhD in Cell Biology from Université de Paris. He previously built a strong foundation in Molecular Pharmacology through a Master’s Degree from Université René Descartes.

He began his professional journey in research at the CNRS under the supervision of Dr. Bruno Gasnier. His research focused on understanding the role of lysosomal amino acid transporters in embryonic development and exploring their implications in cellular homeostasis.

Yann entered the field of Intellectual Property by joining ICOSA’s Biotech/Biology/Techbio team in 2021 as a patent attorney. He supports startups with patent drafting and managing prosecution procedures before the EPO and the French IP Office (INPI).
